Amy is the President of the MapHabit Action Fund.
She is passionate about serving because of her personal connection to its mission to help aging populations and those living with disabilities. Her father passed away from Alzheimer’s disease and her child is living with Down Syndrome.
Amy was born and raised in Scarsdale, New York. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Maryland at College Park and a Masters degree in Sport Psychology from Florida State University. Amy moved to the Boston area approximately 15 years ago and attended the Fine Institute where she obtained her degree in Funeral Service while interning for the family funeral home.
Amy has served as the funeral director for Torf Funeral Service since 2000, and is the fourth generation of the Torf Family to serve Chelsea and surrounding towns in the family owned funeral home.
She sits on the board of directors for the Massachusetts Down Syndrome Buddy Walk and maintains an active membership in numerous Temples and their Temple Sisterhoods.
Richard is the Treasurer of the MapHabit Action Fund.
Additionally, Richard serves as the Executive Vice President of the Foundation for Economic Education, Inc. (FEE) whose vision is to make the ideas of liberty familiar, credible, and compelling to the rising generation. Lorenc also served from 2017-2020 as managing director of FEE’s Youth Education & Audience Research (“YEAR”) project–sponsored by the John Templeton Foundation to develop and promote new content and distribution techniques for free-market ideas.
As FEE’s Executive Vice President, Lorenc serves as chief of staff, leads creative projects, manages corporate finances, participates in fundraising, and directs outreach and partnerships.
Lorenc is involved in a number of civic, educational, and professional development organizations. He is the chairman of the board of directors of America’s Future Foundation (AFF), the nation’s premier network of liberty-minded young professionals. From 2018-2020 he served as the chairman of the board of directors of the Coalition to Reduce Spending, Inc., an advocacy group established to place meaningful controls on federal spending. He joined The Mont Pelerin Society in 2018, and was a member of the Spring 2019 cohort of the AEI Leadership Network.
Crystal serves as the Secretary of the MapHabit Action Fund.
Crystal is an experienced Program Coordinator with a demonstrated history of working in the higher education industry.
Skilled in Clinical Research, Data Entry, Community Health, Minority Engagement, and Epidemiology.
She is a strong community and social services professional with a Master of Public Health (MPH) focused on Minority Health & Health Disparities, Health Education, and Disease Prevention from Mercer University School of Medicine.
We envision a world where our aging populations and those living with disabilities in underserved communities see enhanced qualities of life.
We aspire to raise awareness of the need for increased technical care solutions for aging populations and those living with disabilities.
